She is much more suited to ITV News - whether that's experience or just the straight news format suits her better. I don't think anyone in the position she was in coming into North West Tonight and taking half of Gordon Burn's job would have been that welcome really.

But her and Roger was very cringe-worthy as well - have to admit that Roger, since she left, has come on leaps and strides - whether that is in part doing most Sundays on the sofa for Breakfast, I don't know. Also, since Ranvir left NWT, the programme has become far more watchable than Granada Reports.

From what i've seen, the chemistry wasn't really there between Roger and Ranvir.
I have to disagree with you there, as others have said, Ranvir is very capible and talented.. Hosting a 3 hour breakfast show, national news, bulletins etc. A very good interviewer, and has the 'down to earth' feel that someone like Susanna reid seems to lack. I could go on.
You couldn't really imagine having Roger Johnson on the NaT or as a full time presenter on Breakfast, could you? I agree with you about how he has improved in the past couple of years, though.

Ranvir is a superb broadcaster and an all round lovely lady. Ive had the pleasure of meeting her and she is just the same on and off screen. I don't think she coped with the loss of GB on NWT tonight though and this was reflected on screen with Roger. As there were often references to Gordon mentioned following his departure.
