Faye Barker doing the 11.20 bulletin. Has Faye been back long?
Returned last weekend, done last Sundays morning bulletins and some London GMB bulletins. I do think it would nice to use Faye on London Tonight more over the likes of Lucrezia. Don't rate the latter as a newscaster. Would be good to see Faye do more national shifts also.
Faye has been slowly returning to work. Her first shift back was a late London bulletin back in March. She'll probably be third choice presenter for the 6pm London bulletin after Nina and Charlene once she returns full time as Lucrezia went freelance in June.
Odd that Mark is doing 6:30 and Alastair is doing 10...
Why is it odd? He may have an engagement to go to this evening. It's not that unusual to swap shifts with colleagues.
I'm not sure why they swapped shifts as Alastair and Mark are both on the ITN free AJ Staff which I believe was shot this afternoon.
However I do like Charlene on the main bulletins, she doing very well. Good that she's now becoming a familiar face in the national bulletins!
Steve Scott did the 1:30 today, first in a while I believe with him been in Brazil recently.
That is good. I'm so glad her and Charlene are being used properly.
I do like a Ranvir but think I prefer her in Good Morning Britain. Ranvir is on Ten aswell I believe. I do think maybe the number of stand ins are now a little out of hand.. Charlene, Nina, Ranvir, Natasha, athough the latter seem to be used if all else fails. With the males it's much more organised, you have James- Steve Scott if there desperate.
While Saturday evenings are continually erratic. But I'll let that go for now.
