Does Mark do the weekend bulletins much?

Nope he hasn't done a Sunday for ages. I wonder if James Mates is on his way back to the Ukraine as he usually does a Sunday these days...

Its a high chance. And this wouldn't be TV Forum if I didnt point out that the politically correct way of saying Ukraine is without the 'the' before it.

BBC News did an article about putting "the" at the start of some countries' names back in 2012 - the background to it, and the opposition to it, is interesting.

So... how long do we think it will take until Charlotte Hawkins presents a bulletin?

I think she'll certainly front one before Susanna ever does.

Just like when Trevor McDonald took all the headlines when ITV made one of their best ever signings in Julie Etchingham I think Charlotte Hwakins will ultimately prove more of an asset than Susanna.

Totally agree, and I fully expect her to move pretty quickly up the ladder at ITV. Can't really see where Susanna can go from here however, much as I do actually quite like her - I think she's too light for news, but not light enough for fronting an entertainment show. I'm enjoying her doing what she's doing now though.

Susuanna will probably present This Morning before she ever has the opportunity to present ITV News bulletins, but thats becoming more off topic now.

It won't surprise me if Charlotte like Matt will do a Saturday evening, plus ITV News London.

Kylie Pentelow from West Country is doing the bulletins tonight. This will be the first time her doing the Saturday bulletins I think?
