ITV News: Rotas & Presenters

The Daybreak London presenter has presented the 11.25 summary only a handful of times. It's more usually the 1.30 newscaster. Faye hasn't presented 1.30, but has reported quite a few times.

Basically ITV are to screen a documentary about Terry Lloyd who died in 2003 covering the Iraq War for ITV News, it'll be shown on ITV on March 21st.

Steven Douglas, ITV News Correspondent is currently appearing on Sky News as 'Sky Reporter'. I thought Steven was still at ITN?

Maybe he's freelance?

ITV News London's Martin Stew credited and introduced as 'ITV Weather Correspondent' on the ITV News at 1:30 today.

A few changes to the UK team...

Reporter Sally Biddulph is on maternity leave. Damon Green moves to Salford base as correspondent alongside Martin Geissler. Ben Chapman from ITV Tyne Tees promoted to news correspondent for ITV News.

I thought the Salford base for itv news was only for regional? , so why are they now moving to salford?

I'm not sure whether ITN had some people at Granada on Quay Street, this week they've moved to Salford, I'd assumed it was the case that ITN had people scattered about across the UK at ITV regions.

Absolutely the case, also remember that the ITN staff work for the ITV News Group - they can be on any regional or network programme should the need arise...

A question was put out in the BBC Presenter thread - Are there any regional presenters/reporters who would be good at national presenting.

So are there any Regional presenters/reporters who would be good at National presenting on ITV?

Personally I think John Mackay from STV would be a good choice, along with Fred from Meridian and Pam and Ian from TTaB
