Sascha Williams is on her 7th of seven overnight shifts. I don't think we've seen anyone do a whole week of nights in a while?


Rachel McTavish was the last person to do 7-in-a-row in mid-September.

So it looks like the same two staff morning news presenters will move to a new role presenting Daybreak's London regional bulletins and weekend ITV News. So basically a reduction in their current role.

Looking at Faye's twitter she said there still needs to be things sorted out. I can't imagine the late bulletins will be presented by Daybreak presenter. Charlene has got the best deal out of the bunch with an increased role on the 6pm program and less Daybreak bulletins.

I would have thought the late London bulletin would just be presented by Mark or Julie every night.

Surely they would still need someone on overnight duty, just in case something major breaks.

What time does the late shift leave and the Daybreak shift come in? Could they not use one of the newsroom journalists if needed? or Keir Simmons as freelance since he's downstairs for NBC?

I recon we'll get;
The likes of Yao Chin/ Jon Gilbert will cover the overnight shift with maybe a few headlines at 2am.
Faye Barker/ Charlene White: Daybreak London News
Faye Barker: Doing the 1:30pm news, (So like Her & Alastair share duties like him & Katie did before)
Nina with Charlene as deputy on 6pm LT and also Possibly the late LT.

On weekends;
Charlene (With Sangeeta & Alexandra deputising) on the ITV News Daytime Shift (including LT).
With Faye doing the Primetime ITV News shift with James etc. deputising.
