ITV News: Rotas & Presenters

Where the hell did that come from? I'm not on about the presenters I'm just highlighting that whether or not they have a voice-over is neither interesting nor of importance.

Yeah to you it may not be - but it interests me and maybe others hence why I posted it. You have no right to make anyones interest in something seem pointless and insignificant as to some like myself it is interesting.

That's interesting that they used no voiceover; I was cooking my tea when it came on so didn't pay much attention myself. Was it a case of them using the titles with no voiceover after it (I'v never seen that happen yet) or did they start without titles?

Comes to something when in a thread about presenter rotas you have someone making judgement on whether something else is interesting or not...

Where was the information about who is on and what they are wearing and if they have worn it before and on what day it was, and what the newsdesk smells like on a particular day thanks to the concoction of presenter's perfumes, colognes and newsflashes... spicy.

I'm going to get a screen cap of that rota schedule and save it for later.

I am more than positive that Martin Geissler said on his twitter that he was moving back up to scotland, I wonder if he will come back to STV News, or maybe even be ITN's scotland correspondent because I can't remember the last I seen Debi Edward on screen. Anyone know where she is?

Debi is still here. She reported from Dunblane during the Olympics. I think Emma Murphy and Martin have simply swapped jobs, as Martin has already filed a few reports from the North of England.

Julie Etchingham has just posted on Twitter that Lucy Manning has been appointed UK Editor. Chris Ship has also been appointed to a new role, Deputy Political Editor.

That would be why Romilly Weeks was recently made a Political Correspondent then. Great news about Chris - underrated until now IMO.
