Ha Ha - I remember that bulletin.

Came across more as an after-thought than a proper bulletin but I seem to recall it had some decent graphics ...


Steve Scott that day did the evening bulletins as I remember commenting about the the use of a jib camera on the weekend news.

Alastair has presented numerous bank holiday bulletins and also has done the odd Saturday evening too.

Charlene White presented the Lunchtime News today. Geraint Vincent is on the main bulletins tonight - the first time he has presented this year.

Charlene White just mentioned there that Geriant Vincent is doing the evening news later, can't remember the last time I saw him presenting.
Today, Charlene did the Lucnhtime news and will do London Tonight later, but on Friday James Mates did all three bulletins- lunch, evening and late- with Ben Scotchbrook doing London Tonight, why didn't he do the Lunchtime? It backs up the point that someone mentioned on here a few weeks back that they don't trust certain newscaster like Ben and Sangeeta Kandola. However, personally, I think Sangeeta, Charlene, Faye etc. are better than someone the more 'senior' newscasters who do the prime time weekend bulletins!

Is it down to trusting someone with the National bulletin or that they don't want or not in a contract? Maybe they couldn't work that time, being in to prepare for the bulletin before hand as well. And it's a long day.

So Natasha hasn't left after all then. I do still hope they keep her on when Nina returns to LT. She should become the lead presenter of the afternoon bulletin to give it some consistency like 6.30pm and 10pm.
