Will tonight be the last double headed ITV news bulletin? With it been Christmas week next week will there be full evening news bulitin s on ITV? It's a shame in my opinion that double headed ITV news is going.

I think Geoff Hill the editor of ITV News favours the single headed bulletins.

It's a pity really, as I have always liked seeing the likes of James Mates, Steve Scott & even Geraint Vincent presenting occasionally, the same with the likes of Nina Hossain, Natasha Kaplinsky, Romily Weeks & Andrea Byrne.

Wonder who is hosting over the Christmas period, as I don't think the listings are correct, as Julie is down to lunchtime on Wednesday and Mark presenting all day Thursday (even though he's left), and Julie has never done an ITV lunchtime news programme AFAIK. Also Lucrezia Millarini is down to present all day Monday which is Boxing Day, usually Steve hosts them programmes.

The ITV hosts always do all three bulletins over Christmas. Do they do London Tonight as well now?

And your list of names shows exactly the benefit of cutting to one host - probably only need one or two stand ins rather than 5 or 6.

From what I recall, ITV News London had a separate presenter for the working weekdays last year, but utilised the network presenter in 2014.
