Well that one just now looked exactly the same to me.

One of the Westcountry bullitins during GMTV this morning was in widescreen, but everything was squashed and looked weird. I turned over to analogue and it looked even stranger. Maybe they were testing?

Must have been delayed, might be at 1.30pm, but who knows... ITN's new branding is def supposed to come in today - there's been a big presentation in the atrium at Grays Inn Road this morning.

They haven't changed the logo have they? Be a tragedy if they did, considering how many years they've used it for.

The "new" logo is a slightly blockier version of the current one, seems to be put in one of a few colours, I've seen purple, green and blue. The new slogan on the vans seems to be "right content, right now". Big presentation to staff ongoing at the moment with Jon Snow and Mark Austin.

There is a new video on the front page of itn's website. I have to say i don't really like the new look but it looks like all of itn's output will be widescreen capable, as the video states about the use of high defenition cameras, not limiting them to a single operation. So could itv news be about to go hd as well?

I have just watched the video on the ITN home page; it's slickly produced and the concept is OK but I think they have overdone their efforts to represent the "common man" with the voiceover. Given that ITN employs a number of people with fine speaking voices they must have searched far and wide (and been wearing earplugs Sad ).
