Its certainly no frills. No fancy house of commons or Downing Street graphics, gimmick free, all very simplistic with lots of talking heads.

Tom Bradby is doing well though, and its right to start to bed in the next 'Alastair Stewart'.

No problem with the lack of gimmicks, but way too many talking heads and skimming over the numbers is pretty poor. They have two great analysts in the studio getting very little airtime.

I really like ITV's declaration graphics, with details about who currently holds the seat, how safe it is and who, if anyone, is targeting it. No-one else is doing that.
Square Eyes and Nicky gave kudos

Was just about to comment on that as well. Been finding that a handy addition when watching the declarations coming in

Old music has returned for GMB. Tom handed over directly to Susanna, he'll be there asap. Voiceover was the old voiceover too. Clock is in the HD side panels.

With the result being clearer than expected, I wonder if they will be regretting putting Alastair on during the day instead of overnight.

Tom Bradby has now reached the GMB studio

I'm sure I've heard that theme and V/O before Smile

The view of Big Ben in the background looks to be very much live contrary to what we thought. This morning it's easier to see the hands of Big Ben, and the camera seems to be shaking and glitching somewhat.

I actually really like how the studio has been designed for election night. I hope (but they won't) keep it for the regular ITV News bulletins.

Not exactly the smoothest of handovers was it? Seemed a little awkward.

Big Ben has hands? It's a bell. How does a bell have hands?
