Its certainly no frills. No fancy house of commons or Downing Street graphics, gimmick free, all very simplistic with lots of talking heads.
Tom Bradby is doing well though, and its right to start to bed in the next 'Alastair Stewart'.
No problem with the lack of gimmicks, but way too many talking heads and skimming over the numbers is pretty poor. They have two great analysts in the studio getting very little airtime.

Old music has returned for GMB. Tom handed over directly to Susanna, he'll be there asap. Voiceover was the old voiceover too. Clock is in the HD side panels.
The view of Big Ben in the background looks to be very much live contrary to what we thought. This morning it's easier to see the hands of Big Ben, and the camera seems to be shaking and glitching somewhat.
