Presumably this is a 'done in a hurry' still, as it doesn't state something such as "6am-6pm on Freeview" below, which most time share channels tend to do.
It's the predictable compromise, but does nothing to secure it's long term future.
After February there is a chance it could timeshare with Men and Motors on Mux D, or perhaps get the second new channel on Mux D if ITV are willing to fork out for it, but as ITV have already said ITV5 is next on the list, we'll only get the same problem again down the line!
It's a fudge, and it can't be blamed on Sky this time (like with ITV3), they have messed up on all platforms. A last minute botch with Sky & Teleworst, and a mess on Freeview with THAT caption. Only ntl was onboard from the start it seems.
"ITV5", I haven't heard mention of this Brekkie, are you referring to the "ITV Kids" channel supposedly launching in ITV4's downtime next year?

ITV4 and ITV5 were mentioned when ITV3 was launched, but no details given. Originally ITV4 wasn't planned as a mens channel, but as either a womens channel or gaming channel.
I've said it a million times in this and other threads, but I see nothing in the ITV4 schedule which couldn't be slotted into the ITV2/3 schedules!
I doubt the CITV channel will have anything that couldn't be shown as part of a CITV2 or something either!
"Breaking News for Britain";
"the ITV News Channel, still on a roll"
Provided it happens between 6am and 6pm of course, and of which only 10hrs is proper rolling news
OO - was watching the four itv4 promotions on repeat when the ITV News Channel popped up on ITV4 for about 30 seconds. It's back to the promotions again now!
EDIT - Oh it's popped back to ITVNC again at 12:51!
