You'll need ITV News Channel to view it- I mean Microsoft Word! Laughing

Mmm, with the amount of mistakes I can spot in that piece of work, Roy, I hope that you don't become a journalist! Wink

Is the running order any different than normal this afternoon?

ITVNC definately had the best Breaking News sting - I loved that high shot with the 'buddabummmmm'. We will never see that again now!

Oh dear - it's all gone pear-shaped. I thought it was odd we didn't see any studio shots during the interview with Michael White, but then they went to the break and now we've got the breakfiller.

Nina And Nicolas are presenting the Evening News @ 6.30 so thats why they are on the 3pm bulletin I would imagine.

Yeah, I saw that. After a few seconds I was like "Okay, this was good at the start, but now, WTF?"

Do we think it likely that the ITV News studio will now be used for other programmes now that is only going to be utilised for 4 bulletins a day with all that technology at their disposal?

Well, one idea would be to utilise all the spare time in the afternoons to pre-record all the local news programmes, ready for central playout at 18:00.

That way they could close all the regional studios and just have tiny newsrooms out in the sticks, instead.

Oh, no, they've already thought about that one, haven't they?

Westcountry, Granada and Anglia on the final UK Today.

Tony Morris at Granada was the only one to send his best wishes to the News Channel team.

yes, given that Nina Hossain made the point that the Anglia bloke would be the last ever presenter for 'UK Today' i was surprised to see a total lack of acknowledgement there from him.

Rather amusing pause as someone made up their mind. Nice to see during UK Today the Granada presenter made a mention of the closure.
