I presume this came from the normal ITN studio?? Also is that a new desk?
A much more serious question... How did the green screen deal with that vile coat that Mrs May was wearing? That's why I asked where this came from because I'm surprised even the most advanced Chroma key technology could deal with it.

Looks like the LDN desk, with May sitting at the presenter part of the desk.

It's not the London desk. It's actually a special L shaped desk that was first used for the Referendum coverage last year.

Yes it was on the Evening News as well
Normally if the desk gains an extension (or its a different desk), they will put it in place for rehearsals and just use it for the news anyway. They don't need to move out as unlike the BBC, there are many hours when the studio is free between bulletins.
Will ITV News be using their main studio for the election night coverage like 2015 and the referendum in 2016? Does this mean they have to move our for restructuring the studio, putting in new desks, etc. They must have to move out for rehearsals.

IT
They don't have anywhere to move to now - there's no spare studio capacity at ITN currently. Don't forget that unlike BBC News, ITN have the luxury of downtime between bulletins each day, so rehearsals can easily be scheduled in between them.

I seem to recall the London desk was also raised for the referendum last year?
BS
It was ok but obvious it was the green screen.
It would be good to see a set which actually is real with large plasma backgrounds to change the look if necessary.
This is not a criticism as I always prefer ITV News over all the others but I think a real studio would be better.
It must be a little boring for Presenters and Guests sat in a room when realistically there is nothing there other than a desk and chairs.
