Julie did all three bulletins yesterday, she was on NaT with Rageh, and I’m assuming she’ll be on all three today (even though the evening news is only a 15 minute slot)

Interesting and rather ill thought out, in my opinion, lower thirds for ITV News' live stream of the May-Trump press conference at Chequers

Looks to me like they've tried to emulate the NBC News 'Special Report' and created a poor man's version, but that's maybe just coincidence

Why wouldn't they use itv news standard graphics?

Only on planet Earth. In the rest of the universe, the highest level of Alert colour is mauve.

Did ITV and the BBC have their birds in the air? NBC was the only one with live aerial coverage I’ve seen (focusing on Trafalgar Square) that I saw. They certainly have the resources to hire a helicopter.

Also either all the networks or nbc provided a further pool camera showing the statues.

There were actually two sets of SR graphics. One for a control room that ran Chyron (NBC News 1A control) and another VizRT (msnbc) on the previous generation graphics but now there’s a single set as for the most part they’re VizRT.

Suzanne Virdee fronting the lunchtime bulletin today.

I potentially believe this may be for the first time?

No. She's presented quite a few weekend morning/lunchtime bulletins over the last few months.

Suzzane certainly looks very at home a shame she is not more widely used she certainly has a warm that the lovely late Carol Barnes had in making you feel like she wanted you to take in what she was saying with a very carefully balanced warm/gravitas level

Still no sign of Tom Bradby returning to NAT has certainly been a pleasure seeing both Alistair and Nina hosting NAT and Rageh has come along leoaps and bounds with the extra practice

It's nearly been three months that he's been on leave.

It's starting to get to the point now where I'm wondering whether Tom will ever return to the show again. If hosting this late at night has been so detrimental to his health and has been the cause of his insomnia to have to take three months off work, then ITN surely out of a duty of care wouldn't put him back on at Ten only for the same thing to happen months or years down the line.

If he is not back within the next month or so then I think we can be safe to assume that Tom may no longer host News at Ten, or at least be the sole main host and may possibly go back to his political reporting or to something like 'The Agenda'.
