I'm sure a scan will be appreciated but for those who can't wait; it's basically a very green picture with Alastair, Julie, the desk, two cameras and what looks like a couple of monitors on a trolley. The lighting rig is impressive though.
The text says that they can't wear green.
There's a small, inset picture of Julie and Alastair sat at the desk drinking tea, with a caption saying that's how they wind down after the cameras stop rolling, (which is probably b*ll*cks as it was most likely taken before they go to air or during a commercial break).
A wonderful article today in the radio time about alastair and julie on news at ten. Talking about the studio and what they do during the ad breaks
Any chance of a scan? Cheers
I'll try, it's a double page spread
It's just a very brief report as part of their
'The Bigger Picture'
sequence of articles, this time about the use of a green studio to explain that:
Radio Times posted:
It allows the blisterignly hi-tech graphics of ITV's flagship bulletin to be projected onto the floor and walls of the studio
It's accompanied by a large wide-shot of the studio which completely destroys the myth for any
RT
readers out there who actually thought the studio was real!
It does show the jib camera in operation, though!
(Unfortunately my scanner ceased to work when I got Vista -
grrrr
- otherwise I'd scan it for you)
For anybody wondering about ITN's new base in Haiti a picture has been posted here http://shrinkify.com/1mjk.
That link doesn't work for me! Edit : Take the full stop out at the end!
