London Tonight seems to have switched to Meridian Tonight.
Fire alarm at ITN apparently - I was only saying the other day about these power cuts/fire alarms happening a lot !
Lucky, the EN is mainly from Haiti tonight - I wonder if there'll be able to go back?
Although, If they had to stop London Tonight - how are they contining with ITV news? Last time C4 had one , John snow had to say there's a fire alarm and walk out.
Edit: Non programme staff evacuating the building (Tweet)
Edit 2 : We're all back in again now, but huge extractor fans in the central atrium still roaring. Panic over. (@ itvnewsinsider)

Think it was Krishnan Guru-Murphy and the News at Noon ("We may or may not be back after the break..."). The camera operator didn't seem deterred by the alarm or by the sight of Krishnan taking off his mic and walking off set, pulling the camera out to show the full length of the studio as usual!

I think you may be right - my mistake
also , (@itvnewinsider) US authorities try to move Mark Austin off roof and began unclipping his mic but he still has one more report to present. Mic back on now!
Apparently because Clintons plane was taking off?

Not certain, but there possibly could be stricter regs for the glass fronted studios facing on to the atrium than there is for the basement studios?

Just been on twitter, it seems they have been completely removed from Haiti Airport.
@cameramanjimitv
Not sure on what grounds US troops can move the ITN team from their position at Haiti airport. They're doing it anyway. Job got even harder.
With all due respect to US military I imagine the people of Haiti would want reporters helped to get their plight broadcast. Not moved away.
Our team in Haiti having a harrowing enough time without having to up sticks and move on.

I wonder where they will anchor from today?
Also "Tom Brokaw - the great US news anchor - says last night's Haiti rescue report by Bill Neely was "television news at its best." " (@itvnewsinsider)
I thought the report was really good too - Could we see another Bafta/Emmy Award for Bill Neeley/ ITV News like it got for its coverage of the earthquake in China?

Should be interesting as one of the main reasons I imagine why they were doing live's from the airport was because it was the best place for reliable comunications.
I agree with @cameramanjimitv what right do the US military have to move ITN away?
