Bit of an abrupt end to the news there; sound started going in and out and volume going up and down. Very quick credits and ITN endboard.

Sorry, don't have capture card, if only this happened in a few months time!

Shame!

EDIT: But of course! BBC iPlayer! Making the unmissable Unmissable!

EDIT X2: I mean the ITV Player! Amazing Telly you can't miss! They are very similar!

EDIT X3: ITV News is not available on-line, at least not after broadcast.

Been @ ITV Yorkshire all day. Found out that Calendar adopts the new yellow branding Wednesday Night. The main 6:30 programme will come from the studio with the late bulletins been brought from the newsroom while new lights are added and slight changed made to the set.

Erm... no new look tonight, and it's the 6.00 bulletin, not the 6.30 one.

Erm, if I have read that correctly, tonight's late news will be from the Calendar newsroom with the yellow set appearing tomorrow.

I never said it was coming into place tonight I said they were preparing tonight. And I apologise for the small mistake. This is because the guy told me at 6:30 they were heading straight into the studio to prepare.

I also interpreted 'adopts the new yellow branding Wednesday night' as 'the new branding will appear on Wednesday night'. Bearing in mind swfc4 posted this...

...on Monday evening he appeared to be saying that Tuesday's late bulletin would come from the newsroom whilst the studio was being updated.

Well, to me anyway. Each to their own.

Whilst I prefer the blue set, I don't mind the yellow one. My big problem with this package is the graphics. The astons and other things are fine, its just the titles and stings such as the weather one. They would have been much better just turning the blue on the graphics either grey or black. The new ones look cheap, and effectively cheapen the entire ITV News brand. The writing animation also looks like someone has just discovered Powerpoint.

Takes some doing. It was Poundland as it was.

Ugh, so Calendar has got the murky yellow treatment. Shocked

Well surprisingly I've grown to like the yellow set. It's not as bad as I first thought although this is from the perspective of TWCT and not of Central's as that does look slightly murky.

But the titles are still as cheap looking as they first did.
