Because Nina lives in the midlands I guess it is harder for her to get down on regular bases.

What has that got to do with anything? It takes less than 2 hours by train from Liverpool to London, so from the Midlands it would probably only be an hour, if that. Heck, my commute to work takes nearly 50 minutes and I know people who commute a lot further than that on a daily basis.

Maybe she actually wants to spend time with her baby? Its probably her choice not to do anything other than the odd weekend.

Interestingly it doesn't look as though the morning bulletin is being dropped this year. It might do later in December but I'm sure they usually have CITV every morning with a 5 minute bulletin throughout all of December?

Im sure their childcare arrangements are their own business! Many new mothers return to work on reduced hours after their maturnity leave.

Not on my account, I hope.

I just didn't like the suggestion that the woman couldn't possibly work while her hubby was out of the house.

Been @ ITV Yorkshire all day. Found out that Calendar adopts the new yellow branding Wednesday Night. The main 6:30 programme will come from the studio with the late bulletins been brought from the newsroom while new lights are added and slight changed made to the set.

Looks like its Granada's turn tomorrow, coming from the newsroom tonight

Edit- confirmed at the end. "We'll be back in GMTV where you might notice a few changes".

They are doing this refresh quietly and quickly aren't they? It'll be strange seeing ITV NEWS Granada News on the titles, I take it the keep the same images from the last set of titles? I wasn't too keen on the last time the set was yellow (Feb 2004 to Feb 2005) that didn't look good, I hope they pull it off this time.
