The more I rewatch that opening the more I love it. And it's just the morning news. I think it's a real grower.
So far:
Music - completely grown on me, love
Titles - very good but some of the motion is a bit left, right, left swervy at the moment, I'll reserve judgment til later but on the whole superb
Set - A welcome change from the curves of before, glad there is new desk but think the initial shot is far too distant and makes it look too vast and fake. Take the camera in a bit so it looks like they're in a room not a warehouse.
Graphics - They animate very nicely but the name astons are far too large. I hope these are tweaked.
Overall I'd give this 8/10 so far, purely for the slickness of it all.
