I can see them dropping Friday's News at Ten permanently from next year. They're slowly undoing all the good work that was undertaken in order to re-establish News at Ten to the ITV schedules during 2008 and early 2009.
The whole reason for bringing back the Friday edition in March 2009 was because NAT's ratings had increased. (Interestingly, from almost the point at which Trevor retired and Mark took over around November 2008.) For the first time in years, the gap narrowed between ITV and the BBC. Then what happens? They tinker with the format and reintroduce a heavy human interest focus, change the entire branding, become more lenient with the start time, ratings begin to decline, and then they start regularly dropping Friday bulletins. What a joke.
I sincerely hope that this isn't the case and we see a rejuvenated News at Ten from January, five nights at week on the dot - but I really wouldn't bet on it.
And there's a good chance the 21st won't be normal schedules either, it being only four days before Christmas. Won't surprise me if we've seen the last yellow Friday News at Ten.

Obviously were expecting a promo into NaT and didn't show it. Reminiscent of the Romilly and Geraint days when it closed early again. Would be good of somebody was able to capture it even on ITV1 + 1.

I've found out how to do it now...search "News Centre" then in the results under "CDs and tracks" click "Track title: 48" that then should show them all

Sorry for leaving the details out of my original post, as it was very easy for me to find the cues under the "Track titles" option.
