Bit of a major fault with the set - the background doesn't 'focus' like the old London Skyline set! It's too clear when on a single shot!

News at Ten is in HD aswell, looking very nice and sharp, although the reports are mostly SD it's a pleasant surprise. Is this just a test run or is it permanent?

Not sure if it's a test or live dry runs, but it's not flagged as HD. Lots of Tweets about it.

It's permanent and it's full 1080i from the studio. We did all the tests and dry runs before it went to air...

Is there a reason why there is no standing up presentation in this version of the studio? If anything it would be better in this studio.

My boob. I was sure I'd seen it being Tweeted earlier today as a test. Obv all tests would have been made off-air. Looked good.

Agreed, it's done a lot for that studio.

Don't really know why they have those random yellow panels on the desk, would it look so bad it if was just all white ?
