It wasn't the first time. I'm pretty sure I saw her present it a few weeks ago.
She presented once before.
For anyone who's interested, former Channel 4 News reporter/presenter Bridgid Nzekwu presented the Morning News yesterday - her first time AFAIK, and she had a voice-over.

You are joking, right?
Just reminded me how shortlived the brilliant News at Ten look actually was... a shame that this branding has persisted for so long when so much of it needs correcting. I think the main trouble is the editorial aspect though, which was pretty much perfect until they felt they needed to ruin it in late 2009.
On a brighter note, Richard Edgar appeared on screen as the new Economics Editor last week. He seems to be an excellent signing for ITN.
Happy
second birthday to the ITV News brand realignment

It really doesn't feel that long - and I know some of you hate it, but I'm glad they haven't tampered with it and stuck with the original vision rather than undoing it bit by bit until it just looks an inconsistent mess.
My only real complaint about the look of ITV News at the moment is the regional news - new studios would be nice, but at the very least titles that didn't look so cheap.
