Does anyone else think that all the headlines should be shown before the opening titles?

At the moment the 'hero panels' refer to news stories, but until you've seen the headlines, you don't know what today's stories are, meaning the hero panels just look like random images (unless the news is a very obvious story, a picture of a postbox for example)

Also Mark Austin's birthday was yesterday celebrated by the ITV News At Ten team with a cake

So safe to say that ITV Regional News will be getting a revamp in early December!! Great news. I guess ITV Local will officially launch then and the ITV News site if it does not launch soon.

I've been told Early January for Central (then again, that was a good 2 months ago).

However different regions could come at different times.

I've heard rumours that London will be first to revamp. Don't know whether they are true or not....

Wouldn't really have harmed ITV to hold back the national revamp a couple of months until the regions were in a position to relaunch too.

I've heard the big 4 will go first (London, Central, Anglia and West & Westcountry)

Is Granada not considered one of the "big four"? It's got to be one of the largest regions.

I thought Granada was one of the biggest with London a
nd Central of course?

If there is a 'big 4', I'd say they are London, Central, Granada & Yorkshire.
