I wish ITV News would get a revamp, I hate everything about it at moment. But as the last one was 2009, I guess we're stuck with this for at least 3 more years.

I think this look has actually aged better than the previous two - and I think the fact they've stuck with it, not tweaked it, is a large factor in that.

There are still editorial issues to address, and I'm not a fan of the current regional news titles, but on the whole I still like.

So Alastair and Mary covering every single bulletin this week, the presenter roster being stretched to it's limits. Mary looks like she's just gotten out of bed lol

Mary's done 6 nights in a row, that's probably why!

As well as lunchtime bulletins too.

Only a few weeks ago, some people here were suggesting Mary had been sidelined and was about to leave ITV News

I know that by news broadcast standards they have been busy but they have done no more than average joe bloggs does up and down the country on a weekly basis, particularly during the Summer months.

I will admit to saying that, one week doing complete overtime does not rule out a departure

Forgive me if this has already been discussed (I couldn't find any mention of it), but the rather excellent theme ITV News used for their Election 2010 programme goes by the name of Political Report and, contrary to what various people on here suggested, is available for listening on the usual website.

Hasn't that always been the case with the ITV News music on that site though?
