I don't know if it has been mentioned, but I'm sure last night I noticed that the default Hero panels had been changed? Nt the ones that are headline specific and change everyday, but the ones in the background. I think David Beckham has gone. Was I seeing things? (Or possibly this has already been mentioned!)

From the 6th June:
Was it my imagination or with the pictures on the 6.30 News slightly different than normal? I think Barack Obama was replaced by Nelson Mandela and David Beckham was replaced too, I may be wrong.

Its creep how similar our posts were! I cant believe that they changed early june and ive only just noticed. Were they a one off? Possibly as the NOTW story was so big?

It appears that this week is a very random week for presenters on every channel. Old TV Forum favourite Lucy Meacock has just tweeted that's she's presenting the national bulletins this weekend.

Fantastic News great to see her back on the national stage. Very Happy

Seems both Geraint and Lucy returning so the weekend pool of newsreaders returns. Has Romilly Weeks not returned from leave yet, I'm sure she presented the odd bulletin a while back?

She presented the weekend news a couple of weeks back, and a month or two ago she did the News at 6:30.

Lucy will probably become more frequent again whilst Nina is pregnant/leaves. Andrea seems to be the choice of the moment to draft in from the regions, but she'll be required more on weekdays and she clearly has a future at ITN so it makes more sense to introduce her now.

It is - oddly, she stopped presenting just before the November 2009 look.

I wonder if ITV would ever use Charlene White or Faye Barker on weekend evening bulletins, or even the News at 1.30 if they get a bit short of presenters?

(I'm not sure if Charlene has possibly done a weekend evening in the past?)

I know Charlene White has done a couple of weekend afternoon bulletins, then it was James Mates or Steve Scott for the Evening and Late bulletins.
