i don't get the disquiet over Mates? he gets all the big stories as correspondent and has a regular slot as a presenter. pretty decent position as far as I can see,

I think the 'disquiet' was more over Penny Marshall tbh. James Mates I think was just suggested by a couple that he'd make a good Editor.

Was it my imagination or with the pictures on the 6.30 News slightly different than normal? I think Barack Obama was replaced by Nelson Mandela and David Beckham was replaced too, I may be wrong.
