That's the first time I've seen that graphic on the Lunchtime News too - and I guess it's the first time they've used it, as they've clearly forgotten to replace the old version of the logo...

What a great report from Martin Geissler about the Pakistani children in the hospital, and a live report too. See, while ITV News can be dire sometimes, its reports like this which really shine out IMO.
Rather embarrasing mistake on the Evening News when Tom Bradby had to correct a mistake in a pre-recorded package. I'm sure it was an honest mistake that happens from time to time but aren't their procedures in place (checks?) to ensure such mistakes don't make it to air?

There are but it could simply be down to human error and when they checked it they didant noticed and while the report was playing they noticed i don't think it mattered to much though.
Don't forget that these journalists are working to tight deadlines often against the clock. It's not uncommon for reports not to be ready when a programme goes on the air, so in such situations the priority is to have at least something to put to air, no matter how rough round the edges, than nothing at all.
