Isnt this steve clamp, not jon gilbert?:
http://www.itv.com/news/todays-papers54257/

its defo not steve clamp however I also doubted it was john .

The voice over from the 05:30 bulletin (which is where that clip is from) said Steve Clamp as did the 'Newscaster' credit at the end.

They had a live two-way with GMTV's Michelle Morrison, she did not refer to the newsreader by name.
Entertainment Correspondent Sarah Mills was in the studio, she did not refer to the newsreader by name.

That is Steve Clamp isn't it?

Yes it is! I don't know why the hell there is such confusion from certain other members. "It's defo not Steve" indeed. And the "by Jon Gilbert" text is almost certainly a mistake.

Don't you have a rota thread these days to discuss this nonsense?

I think the discussion is too daft even for a rota thread to be honest.

Was there a justified reason as to why ITV decided to remove the 'coming up on the lunchtime news' bumpers at 1:00 and 1:25?

Well I'm not sure which version of yorkshire youre watching but I was watching on sky earlier and there was a coming up after the break run through after loose women ended. Not sure about at 1pm as wasn't watching then

They must only come up whenever there is spare time because they don't come on every day.

There's never been a Coming Up promo at 1pm, and it's always played out at 1.25pm - every weekday.

I hope the new management sees sense. ITV News needs a big, big editorial overhaul. "Review" sounds a bit too lazy for my liking though, as if they're going to say something like, "Yes - it needs changing" and not bothering to amend a single thing about it. If they stupidly cut the news costs any further then they might as well give up.

If it would have be something like "Overhaul" or "Serious Review of News Output."
Review like you say juts seems that there'll have a look at it as part of a wider review and wont change much on screen.
