Now that Nina works during weekdays, presumably we won't see her on the weekend any more. To me she was previously seen as the main weekend presenter alongside James mates, so who takes over that main role? Romilly? Andrea? Geraint? Steve?

Deleting your post of 2 hours ago and reposting it to "bump it" to the top is against the rules and pretty tragic.

What are you on about?
Your post above (originally timestamped 09.51) vanished, and was replaced by an identical post timestamped 13.24 - which obviously put it to the top of the forum.
I found myself reading it and noted that it was the same post with a different time.

Andrea reads the news in Wales most weeknights. Geraint, Chris, Romilly and Steve do reporting at ITV News during the week so im guessing the weekend news will be a variety of different presenters, as it has been for the past few years, rather than one main presenter.
Im not sure if Nina will do any weekend bulletins as she is part of the main 5 now isnt she? But I thought the main 5 were meant to do Sunday bulletins but havent for ages????

Surely 5 presenters is enough to cover the whole week? They could easily manage with getting away with two presenters a day. One reads the Lunchtime/Evening then another one on the late news. Then one dedicated weekend presenter covering Friday Nights and Sat/Sun.
I think its a waste they have two presenters for the Evening News then two different presenters for the News At Ten dispite both programmes only covering 60 minutes, and they thought GMTV was wasting money by having 4 covering 150 minutes!

I agree that two presenters could cover both the EN and NAT but I guess because they usually have a day off a week each then we end up with the same presenters doing both EN and NAT about twice a week anyway.
Didn't people on here comment when Mark did both the EN and News At 10.30 saying someone else should do one of them??
I don't know if it's a permanent change but, based on the website banner, ITV News appears to have moved from five to four main presenters following Katie's departure.
I recently read somewhere, in what sounded like someone quoting a press release, that Alastair has been announced as the sole main presenter of the lunchtime news, focusing on the 1.30pm and 6.30pm bulletins, with Mark on the 6.30pm and News at Ten ones, which is pretty much the way things are anyway and, if accurate, would indicate that they're going to stick with only four main presenters. Has there been such an announcement or was it merely speculation?
The other possibility, which as far as I'm aware is just speculation, is that another former Sky News presenter in the shape of Emma Crosby will be joining to present the lunchtime news.
(That said, I'll probably only notice the changes if they're announced on here.)
