Also unusual to have a break in NAT!

Yeah. I think someone mentioned earlier - they only tend to have a break if there’s live football before NAT because the match disrupts the normal pattern of ad breaks ITV1 would normally run. Apart from Saturday, when it got cocked-up (again) Sad.

I know they have an extra ad break between the local and national news at 6:30 on football days. But I've haven't seen for ages and I don't think since the World Cup has started there've had a mid NAT break.

It's like a court tonight! "Innocent, Innocent,Innocent" Laughing

As I am feeling ultra-pedantic today, a court never says "innocent" - it's either "guilty" or "not guilty".

Anyone know why Katie didn't present this morning. Also are ITV doing a budget programme?

Not according to the listings...BBC Two will show the budget from 12noon until 2.30, but nothing on ITV.
It would be a shame if ITV didn't bother, IIRC, ITV won the ratings battle with the last budget a few months ago.

Katie will be presenting this evening's News at Ten so, with the benefit of hindsight, it makes sense that she didn't have to bother with the five minute lunchtime bulletin.

Incidentally . . . in Radio Times, the Budget coverage is billed as 3.00pm - 5.15pm on BBC Two, a timeslot which would have clashed with the football on ITV1.

However now that its been moved to an earlier time, its not clashing with any football - there is no 12.30pm match on 22 June. So ITV could indeed cover the Budget if they wanted to.

The Budget was originally scheduled for Wednesday 23 June but was brought forward a day to avoid a clash with the England v Slovenia match.
