She did quite well although two errors I noticed; at 6.45 earlier she was looking at the wrong camera and tonight a very muddled up ending but it was lovely to see someone on there, and I hope we see her quite a few times to come on the national news.

I Always love when on ITV News they do a live link-up with USA correspondents from there news networks, they always introduce and end by saying the presenters name while some ITV News correspondents don't even acknowledge the presenter.

I don't think Lucy will mind to much, as she always says in interviews she will stay at Granada and not move to ITN.

Sorry if I'm a but slow on the news, but when did they change the ITV News logo to look like the new ITV 1 logo?

Just over a week ago.

ITV have a breaking news strap up for lunchtime. This is a really disturbing story.

They are keeping the breaking news strap over other news too, as if they were a news channel. ITV have had the best coverage so far, Sky News don't have anyone live at the scene and seem slower to report things whereas BBC decided to stay with the BBC News at One.

About half of the One News was dedicated to the breaking news.

Sky still have no one on the scene, why not!

Because they don't have regional news setups like BBC and ITV. I guess?

Perhaps, but this broke before midday(ish). Would they not get someone there by now?

I assume they will let viewers know when this man is caught/shot. Probably during an ad break.

I notice they changed the graphics half way through the programme, instead of 'Breaking News' it become 'Cumbria Shooting'.
