Bit of a mess there with Robert Moores report, lol

Yes, bit unprofessional, wasn't it? Laughing

I'd wondered where Lewis Vaughn-Jones had come from - I don't really like reporting style. I place him among a sizable list of newer and more "weak" reporters. Stephen Douglas is particularly irritating with his facial expressions and "...it's storytime, children" voice. That said, there are some great reporters that have joined in the last five or so years - Damon Green is a prime example. He doesn't let lexical fluff cloud the facts/details of a news story. His deadpan delivery of weird "And Finally" reports is also well worth watching. Smile

Lewis Vaughan Jones was a reporter on ITV Wales News - he also occasionally used to present some of the GMTV and weekend bulletins.

And recently reporter on London Tonight

And staying with Katie it could be some random person taking the job within ITV that you wouldn't expect, take ITV Westcountry-signing ex Meridian South East presenter to present there programme

News blogs at itv.com have had a bit of an update, no individual backgrounds instead the generic site one. Also instead of showing post by specific members of the team on certain date you can now see the blogs month by month from all those posting.
And Steve Scott will be getting a blog to by the looks of things

makes more sense - before you had to click on each individual one to see if they's updated! plus you can share them with facebook etc.

Although it only seems to work through clicking that search button/months - when you click through to from the homepage it goes to the old one!

I always love Al's blog - he used to the the "London Tonight Tonight" one - and this is just as funny! Laughing

Also it seems Julie's in Afganaistan for Tonight - you'd think they'd be there for NAT too - they normally on location in Afganistan at least once a year!

The logo on the straps during the 11:25am update was the gradient version. It looks like they've finally changed it!

...but it looks somewhat slack, akin to sticking the new logo directly on top of the old one - and they haven't bothered to amend anything else.

They should have stuck with the old one. Channels all seem to have a habit of revamping things in a corporate identity only to six months later change or tweak that identity resulting in an inevitable cut and paste job.

Have they changed some of the other pictures, Barack Obama, David Beckham etc?
