I was just thinking that. It would be great if the two evening bulletins tonight could be presented from the election set.
Will the Evening News/News at Ten be from the regular studio or the election studio tonight?

The ITV catching the camera incident (also incorrectly known as the ITV dropping the camera incident) has finally made its way on to YouTube...

Alastair & Mary back I though he'd be having a rest!
Also NAT has been extended till 10:50 tonight.
After what must be a draining night, Julie will be back at 10 and I would imagine Mark and Mary/Katie at 6.30

Loved ITV's coverage last night. They did a great job, and it goes to show you don't need some silly huge studio full of sections to do a good job (this is aimed at you BBC
) I loved the studio and the graphics were fantastic. 'Flo' was brilliant and so so easy to understand, much more than that swingometer BBC did. Also loved the fun animated leaders, and the wall of constituencies was good.
I think BBC were trying to be too clever, and it failed. A lot of the graphics looked cheap and tacky, either that or confusing!
Big well done to everyone involved at ITV including all the behind the scenes staff which many seem to forget about!

+1 , I thought it was great too!
Also a funny thing just happened - I have a friend called chris ship and on facebook on suggestions saw his name , so added him (he didn't have a photo) and he accpeted the friend request and because it he accpeted i could see his photo.
It turned out to be ITV News's Chris Ship
he just inboxed me and said "Can't tell if I know you." I explained to him I'd got the wrong one - really nice actaully he said "I'll have to meet the other Chris Ship some time !"

You're clearly a bit in love with ITV.
The BBC's studio was partially a studio but, as mentioned in other threads, essentially a working mini-newsroom - something which ITV chose to hide away. I couldn't for the life of me understand 'Flo' whatever the f*ck it was, but found Jeremy easy to understand. Then again, I paid attention in school.
Besides, what were ITV mourning? It was all bloody black. Maybe a Royal was about to die?

what the hell?
also because of the big election story there've obviulsy decided to use the "main" presenters this weekend - nice to see James anchoring from Downing Street and Mary in the Studio too. Even Tom Bradby was their too.
James said something at the end a little perculiar - " the next scheduled bulletin is at 10 - I suppose withh all the election news going on it's likely there'll interupt normal programme's.
