Also once again, although Mark isn't listed to be part of the election night - I wonder if he will be?

I'm guessing they will keep him for the Evening News Thursday and the Evening News/News at Ten Friday

According to DigiGuide, Katie & James are on at 6.30 on Thursday, Mary & Al at 6.30 on Friday - Mark & Julie at 10.

This could be wrong though, as the TV guides haven't been spot on with its presenters recently.

yeah I expect Mark will be invovled afterwards, but still find it suprising that he isn't invloved in the actual election night coverage - being the "main" anchor, you'd think he would ( mabye it's just a personal prefrence) - although tbh IMO Alastair is more the "main" anchor.

On a scale of one to ten, please could you rank the current ITV team in order of "main" ness?

The lighting is weird on the 6:30 bulletin, presumably they are in the reserve studio ?

Yes, they are in Studio 1 because I guess everything is set up in Studio 2 for election night. Cameras also seemed odd - rotated ever so slightly to the right for some odd reason.

I do wonder if ITV will "do a BBC" and move into the election night studio for News at Ten. I doubt that, but there's a certain "shoddy-ness" about Studio 1 which would be great to eliminate for the "main" bulletin of the day. IIRC there is no proper reflection in the desk glass in Studio 1 is there, just the newscasters but not the set background?

They are in the different studio again. The quality is terrible compared to the normal studio! When it just did the shot of Lucy Manning on the "tv screen" and you could see the desk, it looked like something seen on The Sims with bits missing and not all lining up, and the video Lucy was on kept jumping and stuttering.

I also noticed at the start it looked like a light had fallen on the floor and the distance the camera panned from right to left started at a wider point and Katie didn't have any images on her right apart from the live link with Debbie
