Me too. I'd love to see Katie present the BBC News, it would seem such a waste is she weren't to do so, though that would probably have to wait until after the Proms, so mid to late September at the earliest, and even then it will really depend on whether Katie's remit includes current affairs programmes.

Election 2010 promo featured on today's News at 1:30. Sorry for the lack of captures or video, but I'm sure it'll be played on the 6:30 and 10:00 bulletins. Interesting music...!
There is an election advertisement doing the rounds on ITV1 at the minute. It is a rather general (ahem..) advert, mentioning ITV News coverage, Tonight specials and the Campaign 2010 series. Mark Austin, Julie Etchingham and Jonathan Dimbleby are mentioned though interestingly they don't mention Alastair Stewart. If possible I'll try to upload this ad later today (don't count on that!)
I think that Alistair is not in that one as he is only doing the election night coverage, that advert is more for the lead up programmes. The election night advert which was shown on the lunchtime news featured him, Julie and Mary.

ITV News has more than just Nina to present, she may not have 'lead' the news but at least she is used.
