Unless GMTV are keeping Nina on (which I think they are), shes done there for now. Because its GMTV With Lorraine (or Nina if you want to be pedantic) Monday & Tuesday are live, with Wednesday & Thursday recorded. There is no show on a Friday.

Yes, 3 to 5 million viewers is notoriously low. Rolling Eyes It does very well considering it's up against the established BBC alternative.

For the past few weeks it has been hovering around the 2m mark and often finishes 3rd-5th out of the terrestrials.

News at 10 and the Beeb's version both came from Downing street, and again they were both very near to each other. On NaT however, the Berb's presenter was just behind a camera, so you couldn't see him very well.

last night on BBC News at Six, after George Alagiah done his headlines, ITV were recording their TOTH. Alistair appeared to be shouting and you could hear & See him in the Beeb's opening shot.

It's not the broadcast version, it's the library version that he's mixed, there are subtle differences.

Just watched the ITV lunchtime news and it seemed to have a longer closing shot than usual. It played the music that I thought is played on the evening news.

I could be wrong though as I haven't watched lunch time news for a while, so it might always have the slightly longer closing. I always though lunchtime had a short close.

The 5:30, 1:30, 6:30 and weekend bulletins all use the same closing theme. News at Ten uses a longer mix, incoporating the opening title motif as part of the build-up of the theme.

Perhaps they finished slightly earlier than usual, resulting in the slightly longer close from today's programme?
