Idiots. They never learn, do they? What was the point in extending News at Ten (sorry, the ITV News. At Ten.) to five-nights-a-week if they're not going to abide by it? No wonder people find the BBC more reliable...
it looks like it might be back to News at when ( well on friday at least!)
as Friday 9th April Harry Potter film is playing from 2000 through to 2245. tbc of course!

tbh like you say, although I prefer that it's ( mostly) at 10 . I think they should have just kept it at 11. For live things like I'm a celeb and even Popstar to Operastar, ok they can't do that much. But when they start moving it for films it's just stupid.
Although it is part of a bigger schedule change I believe with the 2nd Corrie perhaps being moved back to Sunday. (it's only currently 1 week, but it isn't like it's a Bank holiday - it's just a normal day, which leads me to believe that it will stay like it)

Really silly to move it in the run up to the election too. Be interesting to see what happens during the World Cup - I suspect James Corden's show and misplaced episodes of Corrie will take the 9.30pm slot most nights ITV have matches, but they might sneak the odd one-hour show in the slot and push the news back to 10.30pm.

If she were really where she appears to be, that would mean the green screen was enormously high and wide - 30 feet or more tall - which would make it more like a movie soundstage than a TV studio.
Also, its rather tricky to have a close up person in the foreground to be in focus at the same time as someone 20 feet off in the distance.

I too always thought that the presenter stood in the corner, not that it was a CSO jobby.

Plain old generic branding. Began with the summary titles and wide shot of studio with Alastair seated at the desk and Katie live at Westminster. That's pretty much it... if the BBC has special branding for the Budget why don't ITV bother any more? It's a far cry from this.
What happened in todays budget coverage?
Did they follow gentic branding and was Katie presenting? On the videos on ITV News site I can only see Alistair

Indeed. Here is a random assortment of captures from the Budget programme:

anyone watching the lunchtime news will have seen that the graphics for the live report with alpa patel were covering literally half the screen.
