I was thinking today, ITV was a good broadcaster in the 1990's - early 2000's. With the announcement today of profit loses and job cuts, it would make sense if they reverted back to the old ITV, but with a 21st century twist, but not like the new Krypton Factor. Even trying to get the ITV Bulletins, back to the (supposed) quality of the 1990's, when branded ITN.

I think it looks alot better without graphics and standing up. Still too many double shots though.

In my opinion, when there is a double shot, it is too "bland", unlike the previous look, in which an image of the story swooped behind the presenters

Blimey it took ITV that long to go to 16:9, but am I the only person who is seeing everything on ITV Local in 22:9!

The 'London Tonight' graphic was also alot bigger than normal, it makes the straps look really messy.

Anyone notice the backdrop go a bit dodgy earlier on tonight's evening news? It kinda jumped up off the screen and then slid back down again!

I have just being viewing videos on Youtube, courtesy of Itsrobert. Just wondering, when the News at Nine was around in 2003, did they ever start the programme in the studio?

On the video I have viewed, they go straight into the news in Kuwait City

news at nine i did not watch itv news in 2003 as i was a bbc news man was this because of the war

Yes News at Nine was put in place intead of News at Ten because of the war

the funny thing was it was going to be called news at ten at nine
