Neither. They sat on the desk at the beginning, then danced out of the studio at the end. If you don't believe me, e-mail them.
Why is it so important that you must know these things? Have you never asked yourself why you're not having your questions answered properly? Never thought, 'Oh, it must be something to do with me having requested a mass of video clips of something I can easily watch or could have easily watched on television'?
By the way, it's "bulletin" or "programme", not "show". And whilst we're on about it... it's "probably", not "probally" or "probaly".

No not really. I just want to know whether they stood up and the end of the show, because that's kind of what question I asked!!
If I want caps or video I will say so, but if you want them ask yourself, instead of making me ask for you!!

BBC Nicky is now an english teacher.
As I mentioned earlier I have not seen the bulletins because I didn't really watch the bulletins during the time, because I was a bit younger.
*Anyway I would just like to say how sorry I am, for the mass call of videos. I apologise, because I was only wondering about things I haven't seen before. Requests in the future, will be put to an absolute minimum! Once again I am sorry.

Nope. As ITV Local is ran by the ITV Regions, the cuts will be affected there, there will be no cuts for the ITV National News.
Although they've very quietly dropped all references to ITV Local on the News programmes now, Granada Reports had it last night, not tonight, same goes for London Tonight.

Which considering six months ago that was to be the future of regional content from ITV is another big blow.
They did make a point on the Evening News of stating they'd be no cuts to national news programming, and they had the boss in for a chat too. First time I've seen them with a guest since they changed the backdrop - looked slightly awkward really.
Back to the old stand up / sit down debate, and now we're a few weeks in I think in this case standing up was often better. I don't think the opening story works with them switching from one presenter to another - they should at least use a two presenter shot, and I'm not too keen on the wide shots when they use the screens as the presenters seem so much in the background. If they were standing they'd be more prominent on screen.
All of this though could be solved by mainly by changing camera angles - and perhaps going back to the smaller "glass screens" we used to see on News at Ten, which means a tighter angle and more prominent shot of the presenter when using them to illustrate a story.
All in all though the new backdrops have made a huge difference to the feel of the ITV bulletins - they feel modern once again compared to the dated atrium look - although I do wonder if the atrium look could have been improved by using the fake glass screens and floor like we see now rather than the old walkway.

I noticed that tonight, Granada had NO ITV Local website under the Granada reports logo. Also Usually they mention the ITV Local website almost every programme, but not tonight.
I heard on ITV Evening News, that the national news will not be affected.

In what way? The studio hasn't physically changed - it's just the VR backdrop that's new. I didn't think it looked awkward at all. In fact, studio guests have been sat in the same position since the studio was introduced in 2004. The only difference is the new London skyline background, which looks pretty similar from any direction.
