I have recently been trawling through the TV Forum for ITV News, to get a feeling of what people are talking about. I wanted to view the first day of the january 2006 new look ITV News, but unfortunatly the links do not seem to work.
Just wondering whether anybody has the videos to upload?
Plus in septemeber 2006 the LN moved to 1:30, just wondering whether anybody had the first 1:30 programme?
Cheers!!
(I didn't really watch the news 2006, because I was only in Yr 7 and Yr 8, so didn't really bother)

Try contacting the members who uploaded the videos, then. Failing that, contact ITN themselves and explain why it is necessary you must see this footage.
I didn't realise they were still there! Thought they had been binned off when ITV Play dominated Night Time. There can't be no more than one or two summaries per night now surely?
From what I've seen, there's now only one news summary - which can air any time between 1am and 4am.

NO! I am not asking you to capture it for me, because funnily enough 2006 was 3 years ago. I was in Yr7/Yr8 and it is obvious that the videos have been uploaded by somebody on this forum, but the link is broken!!

It really surprises me that despite all the cutbacks the overnight news summaries still remain. You would have thought they'd have been the first thing to go.

1: I, in school Year 10 and with GCSE exams, am not willing to get a capture card, mainly because It most probally won't work my TV and freeview box.
2. I am asking about something that happened in 2006 (3 YEARS AGO), so I can't say I will capture something from 2006 on the TV Tomorrow can I!!!!

What have GCSEs got to do with it? Especially considering they're happening in over a year's time for you?
Well fair enough then, it is, after all, the only thing you've asked for.

Nowadays they spread GCSE's over the 2 year course. Already this year I ahve had a science GCSE and on Tuesdya I have a maths exam - it is mainly so that people can re-sit their papers!!!
