Goodness. Daytime News at Ten basically.

Looks like New at ten with a daytime look. Smarter.

Looks better than the atrium, but a shame it is just daytime News at Ten. Hating that desk even more now too.

And a shame the bulletin is still barely a minute long, before the local weather. Surely another minute wouldn't kill them.

Meanwhile ITN could be up for sale:

I guess the morning summary is exactly the length ITV want it to be so that wasn't going to change.

A promising start, Katie was presenting so they couldn't really go wrong Smile, but I can tell that I'm going to miss the 'standing up'. Hopefully everyone who had claimed not to watch television news because of the presenters not remaining seated will now be tuning in to ITV Silent .

Interesting that there were no titles for the summary - just a wide shot at the start and the ITN endcap at the end.

I don't suppose anyone saw the Morning News this morning?

I did, looked the same as last week.

I did, and it was no different to the usual. However, as the 'broadcasting day' doesn't start until 6am I wasn't execting them to launch any changes on the Morning News.

Why would they do that, don't they always sit down for that bulletin?

They do, but the studio was the same as it was last week - with the fake walkway and same background.

Did the Theatre Of News not get its first outing on the Morning News?
