ITV News 2013 Rebrand

ITV News Meridian:

Slight difference to how itv News Calendar are using the new graphics, Meridian are using a 2 line strap where as Calendar are just using the 1 line strap at the bottom

Also at the start of the latest update I saw the itv News Calendar logo briefly before the clock covered up the Calendar bit

I don't like the rectange that sticks up above the strap, it looks ok when they have the presenter name on screen but for the other graphics it looks odd

The changes to the Calendar studio look very minimal I don't see why they had to be out of it for 3 days but no sign of the newswall they talked about on friday yet so maybe that's why they had to be out so long, Roll on 6pm

Here's Granada's re-lit set, and also notice all bulletins now seem to be called Granada Reports, not just the 6pm show...

What regions were meant to have new sets again?

Shame it doesn't look like London's but at least it looks more modern and much fresher!

Starting to wonder now that if it's the same set, I wonder if the theme tune will be similar to the ones used from 2004-13th Jan 2013!

I'll be disappointed if Emley Moor doesn't make an appearance on the new Calendar titles.

I love the look of the new national set. It would look even better if it wasn't cso.

With London Today/Tonight now ITV News London - presumably the 6pm Border/Tyne Tees 6pm programme will lose Lookaround/North East Tonight names?

When is ITV's lunchtime news? Is it 12:00, 12:30, or 1pm or 1:30pm
