So the bongs have gone. That's the first time since 1999 that there've been no bongs?
Hoping that stand up presentation returns (other than the 'Coming up at 10' trail) even if it is just like Boulton and Co where they stand beside the pillar with screens on it.
So I presume the plan is to eventually get all the regions using VR?
BTW what is central's set like? I thought they were getting a bigger revamp.
To be fair on the other regions though, the ITV regional set is frankly a magnificent set in it's simplicity and ability to be so simply relit for revamps. If that was the new set today from scratch it would still look modern and fresh unlike many of the current BBC regional sets.

Central's the same as all the others. Only London and London alone has got the new VR set.
Otherwise disappointingly it's all the same sets lit ala-2006 plus a new wood effect lino. That's your lot.
They've done great!, The new itv national studio looks real, modern and fresh.
And the regional studios don't look that bad either! , much better with the yellow gone!
They have clearly put a lot of time and effort into it.
