How long has the 11:55 summary been coming from here for? I've never noticed it before...

And, is it me, or does the TV screen in the background (circled) have the Big Game TV logo?

First time I've seen it done from the newsroom.

Re: Big Game TV - I think they have studios in the building.

Indeed, they're in the part of the building where Five News used to be - as you can see, across the atrium from the ITV Newsroom.

The studios for Big Game TV are also used for The Daily Quiz on Men & Motors, as are most of the presenters.

I expect the Daily Quiz will be integrated into ITV Play ?

Just thought I'd mention that. Very Happy

I don't know if it's just me, but that shot looks suspiciously virtual, like she was against green screen and they just fed the newsroom guest camera shot via CSO.

I noticed while I was in London yesterday, that Katie presents the London Tonight update at the end of the Evening News. In my region, they get one of the reporters to do the update and the main presenters go home.
Also, why was Shiulie Ghosh in Washington last week, I thught that was a bit random. Maybe John Irvine was travelling to his new post at that time? Is Robert Moore set to return (in Europe I think) any time soon? Finally, when is the Beijing bureau opening and who is going to report from there? Or was another idle promise to justify the closure of the news channel, take for example the ITV2 news bulletins they had told us about, but never came.

In my region one of the 6pm presenters stays on for the 6.50pm update of the headlines. Tonight however on ITV Wales Tonight the sports presenter Richard Morgan was the main presenter with Lucy Owen, and one of the reporters did the Sport - are they running low on presenters then?

The Beijing bureau is a joint thing with C4 News - they are also going to have a correspondent there.
It is happening AFAIK.

I notice Neil Connery is back from Africa - he was in Ireland tonight. Is be being replaced in Johannesburg?

That's odd that Nina is doing the sport tonight. Has she only come in today to do the sports round-up or did she file a report for LT?

Really? How could she possible make that sort of mistake? She needs shooting if she hasn't a clue about the goings-on of the company she works for.

She was probably watching Poirot, in-between packages, and got completely confused. It's an easy mistake to make.

Talking of Big Game coming from Grays Inn Road, so does Channel Five's overnight sports programme - would you believe they apparantly use Channel Four News' studio with a scenery change!!

Quite a bit goes on down there it seems!
