Not quite sure what you mean by "off-set" - but there has been breaks at least once or twice a week since the relaunch, usually on Tuesdays and either Thursday or Friday.
Who did the Evening News tonight? It's usually Steve Scott, but Alistair Stewart did the Lunchtime News.

But to be fair, when you compare him to Mark or Alastair, he is pretty awful in situations like that. And when he makes mistakes he goes about it in such a dreadful manner. When most people muddle up their words they just start again or chuckle about it, but James totally messes it up. A few weeks ago he ruined the throw to the regions because he couldn't read what he was going to say.
However... when he doesn't mess things up, he comes across quite profesionally.

I was watching the lunchtime news recently and it looks as though Daisy McAndrew is enjoying being pregnant, she's piled it on

Also, I don't think anyone ele mentioned this, but Sasha Herriman filed a report about Naomi Campbell today. I wonder where else she finds work these days except LT.

Yes, Steve and Nina are now the regular Friday presenters. Alastair has been filling in for Nick a lot recently, and I guess is now the main cover (over Steve), but remember that he could never do the Evening News due to his commitments to ITV London.

Usually though Steve and Nina both do the Lunchtime and Evening News on a Friday.

He did the 10.50pm London Tonight last night, though he wasn't the best presenter the ITV NC ever had, it's good to see him back on-screen, he has a good way of delivering the News, and I guess seeing him again sees some form of familiarity to ITV News and London Tonight etc

I thought new technical stuff in the regions should have resulted in more live OBs? Central West seemed to have slashed their live stuff by 90% in the last year...
