Has The Pulse been axed? The news summaries at 10.55 and 11.55 actually included news rather than plugs.

How long have they been using the local reporters like they are today?

I don't like the "ITV Anglia" and "ITV Tyne Tees" though - was much nicer when the Glasgow man had "Scottish Television" on his caption

They were using reporters from around the country to talk about the strike.
Also,has The Pulse being axed? they were no mentions of it and there hasnt been since the start of todays programme..

Do they usually repeat the main news at 1.00 ? they just have then.
Maybe there is no pulse because they want to cover the strike more.

Seems to be a new "Correspondant on Call" feature report - don't know if this is daily or weekly.

I have a feeling this Correspondent on call is replacing the pulse,unless maybe they have this for a few weeks,and the pulse back next month ?

I believe it has; both yesterday and today there was a recap of the top stories at just before 1pm, before doing a 'Pulse' type feature regarding the top story at 1pm, where an expert would discuss the matter in question.

Did anybody else think the guy they interviewed on the subject of disruptive children in schools (he lost his job for alledgedly pushing a child) looked like Mark Austin? I think he did, and he was called Mark too. Maybe they're running out of people to interview in Britain so Mark dresses up now and again..
