Red Bee have updated their site, with lots of interesting things. For a start, this ITV News video, features the studio, with no blue walk way, just the white walk way, pre new look... and Mark with no tie, so this must have been filmed before the new look came on air... especialy for red bee or something.

ITV News - Red Bee

Ah! This is what I saw playing on one of the screens in the ITV reception the other week, I wondered what it was all about!

Interview with David Mannion in Media Guardian, in which he talks about the possibility of an ITV-branded broadband news channel at some point in the future.

ITV News has a reporter in Iraq by the name of Rob Smith. Is he new? I just haven't seen him before.

Rob Smith used to work for Granada News and before that HTV News.

He seems to be a fair addition to ITN.

I seen Rob Smith present Granada Reports on one occasion and thought he was rather good, will most probably make a decent reporter.

Does anyone know anything about So Rahman, I saw him present on the NC a couple of times before he left Granada, havent seen anything of him since.

Strangely, the news roundup came right at the end of tonight's bulletin. Also, something minor, but I think that the whoosh link may have ben updated.

Anyway, what I came on here to post. I am imminently to take on an human resources office management role (so long to overnights!) in Pentonville Road, which, as I found on Tuesday, is right next to Gray's Inn Road, so I may pay ITN a visit. That's the thing though - is it worth the visit? I mean, what areas are accessible, and is there anything that can be viewed or picked up? Hell, is it even open to the general public?! I suppose, being from London, I could drop by any day, but I just thought that one lunchtime I could just have a look. Cheers for any help.

Do you have any contacts at ITN? If so ask them.

I've had many tours of the Sky News Centre's given to me by two different people.
At first i thought a tour of the studios and newsrooms would have to be cleared by Management, on-screen staff, Producers etc. but they don't, and most of the staff, including management probably haven't a clue that I've been in their newsroom and studio (until now)

If you have no contacts, email the press office and tell them you're a viewer, working next door, include your sites URL and ask if there's any chance of a tour ...

Cheers Johnnie for the advice.

I don't think they really do 'tours' as such, but hey, you could always pay me a visit, I'm right next door to Gray's Inn Road!

You may have to do with pressing your nose against the glass and admiring the fish tank. It's hard enough to get in if you're staff

How far is ITN from BBC London? as ITN has the BT tower in their view, and so does BBC London on their webcam.
