A lovely graphic during the Islam pictures story with a country flag with the country name on whilst showing pics from all around the world, Animated brilliantly.
I have an idea for the studio, as the more I look at it the worse it is getting. My idea is on the wings of the newswall, have one grey round post each side, then 2 more virtually created in the atirum, so it looks like its just outside the studio, like it is supporting the studio, yet it covers up the newsroom a little, so the shots look better, and makes it look more real. Then I would put a blue tint on the newswall, with a lighting effect of some spot teal lights. I would then make the walkway a darker blue, same with the desk.
This will make the studio look better, and looks more "together" with the atirum.

I like the idea of introducing those columns behind the news-wall as it would give the studio more depth and also block out some of the incorrect persepective shots of the fake newsroom.
I would introduce four - one at either end and two equi-distance between them. They would all be virtual rather than actually built which your mock suggests (for two of them at least)
According to the RT, Mark Austin's off next week, so it's Steve Scott and Mary Nightingale on the Evening News Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Nicholas Owen and Mary on Thursday and Nick and Nina on Friday.

They're saying that they haven't decided who will head up the Beijing bureau...didn't they say before that John Ray would be sent to Beijing?
I think they said John Ray would be moving to the Washington bureau because Robert Moore is moving to Belgium? Anybody confirm this?

A new Beijing bureau is in the pipeline, probably to be headed up by John Ray. The Asia correspondent, John Irvine, is said to be heading for Washington, while US correspondent Robert Moore is in line for the posting in Brussels.
I don't know if you caught this or not, but during The Pulse they decided to bring a toddler in. Anyway, he ran to the other side of the desk and ended up with Katy lifting him up. The toddler started drawing all over her paper and then chucked them on the floor.
