I find it interesting that on this page, ITN lists the lunchtime news as:
12:30pm The ITV Lunchtime News, with Nicholas Owen & Katie Derham/Nina Hossain

But then this page lists the Evening News as:
Mark Austin and Nina Hossain/Mary Nightingale
and the Lunchtime News as:
Nicholas Owen and Katie Derham.

I think the presenters page that shows Nina appearing on the Lunchtime News, Evening News and London Tonight is probably closest to the mark.

Obviously it has only been a week since the "re-launch" but it looks as if:
Katie will present the Lunchtime News and London Tonight for four days per week,
Mary will present the Evening News for three days per week (part-time?)
and Nina will present the Evening News on two days and the Lunchtime news on one.

Makes sense. I guess we'll regularly be seeing Steve and Nina on Thursdays and/or Fridays then.

What with the whale story I missed the ITV News Channel this weekend.

Owen Thomas would have been in his element with this type of 'upbeat' Breaking News

Well Felicity's profile has been removed from ITN's website but is still on ITV's site. This is quite confusing and sad, because she was working her way up the ranks with regular ITV1 weekday anchor slots. The last time we saw her was Christmas eve wasn't it, just after the closure of the NC. My guess is that she didn't agree with the closure because she lost too much air time, and didn't see much of a future at ITV News, so left soon after?

She also did the 30th December.

I note the person who said she'd left has a postcount of 1....

Nasty end to the nightly there . . . music came in way too soon and Mark was rushing to get off shot, then no ITN end cap!

Great to see the talented Felicity back on our screens, but I'm sure she'll be looking for a lot more than the occasional bit- part on ITV News bulletins before too long.

I had a chat and a cigarette with her at an event she was covering a few years back and found her to be a real pro who is really clued up on her subject matter, one of the best I've seen in fact.

I'm sure she'll be a more permanent fixture somewhere else soon- Sky News maybe?

This whole thing with Lisa Knights in confusing, though. I don't understand why she's gone from nowhere to doing the sport on the 10.30 show - could Steve Scott not have done this while Felicity was off? And do they really need to draft in newcomers after recently laying off so many of their staff?

And I want to know what Owen is up to! Anyone seen him anywhere recently?

A fair point there - though I think legally if Lisa Knights had been signed up specifically for the bulletin before they closed the news channel they are bound by the contract.

Thinking budget wise though, I assume London Tonight have a regular sports presenter like the other regions (Jonathan Wills?) - surely they could double up occassionally, or does he do the late London Tonight bulletin?

Would there have been room for the ITN helicopter though?
