I recorded all five programmes on VHS (and some - but not all - of that week's Friday Lunchtime News in which Anna Ford reminisced about her time at ITN). Strange you asked about it as I was recently thinking of transferring them all to DVD or uploading them to YouTube! Would YouTube be alright with you?

I am particularly interested in the opening and closures of the bulletins guest presented by Julia, Selina and Anna, as well as their guest appearances on the LTN the same day, in which they reminisced of their days at ITN.
I recall the Lewis and Honeycombe versions well, so no need for those!
But any glimpse of the others would be magnificent to see. Thanks so much.

May take about a week but I'll be able to do that. I have all five Evening News bulletins; the only Lunchtime News bulletins that I have from that week is the Anna Ford one, shown on the Friday. Hopefully someone else has the LN bulletins which feature Julia and Selina then?

Are you sure all the guest presenters were interviewed on the Lunchtime News? Looking at the stuff I've got, it seems that some presenters, like Julia Somerville, were interviewed at 7pm on the ITV News Channel. I seem to recall they did one or the other, but not both. I could be wrong, though!

I remember the ITN 50 celebrations very clearly and all from memory.
Gordon, Julia and Selina lasted 15 minutes on the ITV News Channel, yakking away to Felicity Barr.
Also talking to Felicity, Martyn Lewis. He talked for about 40 minutes.
And, Anna Ford did not appear on the News Channel at all, the News Channel had a weekly movie review.
Finally, also from memory, I know Julia and Martyn were on the Lunchtime News. I do not know about the others, because I had the somewhat-handicap [about missing these things you don't usually see] of being working at the time.

I notice from today's Evening News that Laurence McGinty appears to be back (credited as 'Medical Editor'). With all this talk of him having apparently left ITV News a while ago, does anyone know if he is back with them or merely freelancing?
